Trim the cooled wick to approximately 1/4 inch before every burn and remove all debris from the wax. Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Allow the melt pool to expand toward the sides of the vessel, but never burn longer than 4 hours. Let the candle cool completely before moving, trimming, covering, or relighting it.

Burn within sight. Keep at least 12 inches away from anything that can burn and out of reach of children and pets. Do not touch or move the vessel while hot or while wax is liquid. Never use water or the bamboo lid to extinguish the flame. Stop using the candle when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains or immediately if the vessel is damaged or the flame behaves unusually.
